Your mission will be to ensure the highest quality of our software products by spotting issues before they affect our customers.
This role requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities without compromising thoroughness.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Identify gaps, bugs, and potential points of failure early in the development lifecycle to prevent downstream issues.<br/><br/>- Adapt rapidly to changing project priorities, maintaining precision and accuracy in all testing activities.<br/><br/>- Drive the testing process with the urgency and focus of a live product launch, ensuring every release meets quality standards.<br/><br/>- Go beyond checklists and standard test plans by taking full ownership of product quality and user experience.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.<br/><br/>- Execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.<br/><br/>- Report, track, and verify defects efficiently using bug tracking tools and provide actionable feedback to development teams.<br/><br/>- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and tools to increase coverage, efficiency, and reliability.<br/><br/>- Participate in release planning and post-release validation to ensure smooth rollouts.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with exposure to manual testing, automated testing, or a blend of both.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex software products from an end-user perspective and design realistic, effective test scenarios.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically about product behavior and potential failure modes.<br/><br/>- Proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced, agile environments where priorities can change rapidly.<br/><br/>- Experience in designing and executing test cases rapidly without sacrificing thoroughness or accuracy.<br/><br/>- Comfortable validating demos, conducting exploratory testing, and performing comprehensive regression tests within tight deadlines.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with common QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Jenkins, or equivalent frameworks.<br/><br/>- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) is a plus for test automation.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate bugs, risks, and quality concerns to technical and non-technical team members.<br/><br/>- A proactive approach to quality ownership not just testing whats given, but anticipating what might go wrong.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
