This role is critical to delivering reliable, user-friendly products and enhancing customer satisfaction<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Test Planning & Execution<br/><br/></p><p>- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms<br/><br/></p><p>- Bug Identification & Reporting<br/><br/></p><p>- Detect and document software defects and inconsistencies<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain accurate records of test results and issue logs<br/><br/></p><p>- Regression & Performance Testing<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced<br/><br/></p><p>- Process Improvement & Collaboration<br/><br/></p><p>- Suggest improvements to testing procedures and tools<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with QA engineers, developers, and product managers<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with QA methodologies and testing tools<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress)<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)<br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to API testing and mobile app testing</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
