Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Developer to join our [trading / quantitative research / risk] team.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and quantitative research, building robust, high-performance systems that drive trading strategies and risk management.

You will collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to develop and maintain tools for strategy development, back testing, pricing, data ingestion, and real-time trading.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-grade code for pricing, trading, and risk management systems.

  • Implement and optimize quantitative models in collaboration with researchers and portfolio managers.

  • Develop tools for back testing, simulation, and analysis of trading strategies.

  • Build and maintain data pipelines for market, fundamental, and alternative datasets.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews across the quant tech stack.

  • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant under production load.



Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ (or another performant language like Java or Rust).

  • Experience with numerical computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, SciPy) and/or real-time systems.

  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).

Quantitative & Domain Knowledge:

  • Solid background in applied mathematics, statistics, or computational finance.

  • Familiarity with financial instruments (e.g., equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income).

  • Understanding of risk modelling, pricing, or trading strategy development is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.

  • Strong communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
