Position Purpose :</b><br/><br/>This position is responsible for providing testing assistance to IT and business teams across various product and system development initiatives.
The role involves end-to-end management of functional and automation testing, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of applications before release.<br/><br/><b>B.
Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing scope and define test cases.<br/><br/>- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test scripts.<br/><br/>- Conduct testing across different environments Web, Mobile, API, and Integration layers.<br/><br/>- Perform functional, regression, GUI, and authorization testing.<br/><br/>- Identify, log, and track defects to closure; maintain detailed defect reports.<br/><br/>- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with defined processes.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot issues and work closely with developers to isolate and resolve defects.<br/><br/>- Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously and adhere to delivery timelines.<br/><br/>- Maintain comprehensive testing documentation including plans, execution logs, defect logs, SOPs, and reports.<br/><br/>- Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>C.
Qualifications and Experience :</b><br/><br/><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent technical qualification.<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b><br/><br/>- 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing (functional and automation) across web, mobile, or API applications.<br/><br/>- Exposure to end-to-end system testing, integration testing, and UAT processes.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, V+, Falcon, etc.).<br/><br/><b>D.
Skills & Attributes :</b><br/><br/><b>Skill Area :</b> Details<br/><br/><b>Technical / Functional :</b> Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API Testing.
Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting preferred.<br/><br/><b>Testing Tools :</b> Experience with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, V+ and Falcon.<br/><br/><b>Communication :</b> Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/><b>Documentation :</b> Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, defect logs, and reports.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
