About the Role
Flyde Studio is looking for a React Native Developer who can translate thoughtful design into clean, performant mobile applications.
You’ll be working alongside a design-led team to deliver polished user experiences for both startups and established brands.
This role requires a strong grasp of mobile development principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
- Convert Figma designs into functional, responsive interfaces
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness
- Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and native modules
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Conduct code reviews and write clean, reusable, well-documented code
- Debug production issues and implement timely fixes
- Participate in sprint planning and provide technical input during project scoping
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience with React Native
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of React hooks, state management (Redux or Context), and component architecture
- Experience with mobile-specific concerns such as gesture handling, navigation, and async storage
- Familiarity with API integration, push notifications, and app publishing workflows (App Store / Play Store)
- Version control proficiency (Git)
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience working with Expo and custom native modules
- Exposure to tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, Firebase, or OTA update systems
- Background in working with design systems or component libraries
- Comfortable collaborating with a fully remote team
