Job Description
Own the entire sales lifecycle from lead identification and nurturing, to proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with delivery teams for effort estimates, Solutioning, and documentation.<br/><br/>- Maintain and report a robust sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and meet quarterly revenue targets.<br/><br/>- Create high-impact, customized proposals on Upwork and other marketplaces, increasing bid-to-win ratio.<br/><br/>- Manage online profiles (e.g., Upwork, Clutch, GoodFirms) and ensure consistent engagement and visibility.<br/><br/>- Optimize bidding strategies based on marketplace trends and buyer behavior.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients across various regions.<br/><br/>- Conduct consultative sales calls and follow-ups to understand project scopes, budgets, and timelines.<br/><br/>- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.<br/><br/>- Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, pricing benchmarks, and evolving customer needs.<br/><br/>- Share insights with internal teams for product/service refinement and go-to-market 4+ years of business development experience in the IT services industry (custom software, mobile/web apps, ERP/CRM).<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Zoho ecosystem and Odoo ERP (both functional and sales perspectives).<br/><br/>- Proven experience working with clients across US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Pan-Pacific, and Africa.<br/><br/>- Align software solutions with client needs in industries such as: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI).<br/><br/>- Insurance & InsurTech, Healthcare & Telemedicine,Logistics & Supply Chain.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client business objectives to propose tailored solutions.<br/><br/>- Proficient in CRM and sales management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive).</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
