Role Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain
Client Reference Data , including static and standing settlement instructions ( SSI ), account, and hierarchy data.
Support
data quality controls , validation checks, and exception management processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Partner with
Operations, Technology, and Data Management
teams to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
Contribute to
reference data remediation
and
data migration
initiatives as part of larger change programs.
Document and support implementation of
data governance standards
and operational procedures.
Participate in
UAT , system testing, and agile ceremonies as required.
Provide insights and analysis to enhance
client onboarding ,
KYC , and downstream data usage processes.
Required Skills & Experience
3–6 years of experience in
Reference Data Operations , ideally focused on
Client Data ,
Static Data , or
SSI maintenance .
Strong understanding of
Capital Markets / Investment Banking
products and client lifecycle processes.
Exposure to
data management frameworks , data quality tools, and operational control environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in
agile
and
cross-functional
delivery teams.
Familiarity with data tools such as
SQL ,
Excel , or workflow / golden source platforms (e.g.,
Markit EDM, GoldenSource, or proprietary systems ) is an advantage.
Preferred Attributes
Experience supporting
client onboarding
or
KYC reference data
functions.
Understanding of
data governance ,
data lineage , and
regulatory requirements
impacting client data.
Consulting mindset – proactive, outcome-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced delivery environments.
