<p><p><b>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>Perform the Software Engineer ( SE ) activity on a identified requirement or specification adhering to Automotive standards.
This activity includes : <br/><br/></p><p>- Identify software design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan software implementation and derive test plan.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform software integration, validation and provide test reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform coding, testing and code review.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor software quality & Report software quality issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Report the SW status to the lead at defined frequency and milestones.<br/><br/></p><p>- Follow up the actions and Track to closure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to the definition, deployment and maintenance of the embedded software development standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to the improvement for standards and QUALIFICATIONS : Background : </b></p><p><br/></p>- BE/ ME/MS in CS/EC domain<br/><br/></p><p>- Post-graduation in engineering will be given qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Required experience from 5 10 years.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Android Audio Framework.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong programming skills, including C++, Java and JNI, Binders, IPC mechanisms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Should have good knowledge/experience on middleware audio policy manager, audio flinger, android HAL, media server, audio server.<br/><br/></p><p>- Have good knowledge and understanding of Android development, debugging tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge in design patterns, data structures ,Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Multi-threading.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good to have knowledge in creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents<br/><br/></p><p>- Good to have knowledge of UNIX, Linux.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems / working in SDV is plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Should have knowledge on audio frameworks (QNX MMF/io-audio/Dev-A, OpenMAX, Android Player (NuPlayer / StageFright), Android Audio System (AudioFlinger, AudioEffect, Audio Policy manager), GStreamer, etc)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in ALSA or Audio HAL, HIDL in android is must.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good Understanding of Codec2 interface in Android.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum process for Project Development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good team player and should follow agile development methodologies and ASPICE practice as part of SW development : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong communication, interpersonal skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Self-driven.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work with deadlines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Analytical skills and logical thinking.<br/><br/></p><p>- Adaptability and learning skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
