Urgent! Reservoir simulation engineer Job Opening In India, India – Now Hiring Computer Modelling Group
As part of the growing customer success & consulting team, the successful candidate will play an active role in delivering high quality consulting, support and training services to end users and customers of CMG in a global setting.

Essential Responsibilities A good working knowledge of reservoir simulation software e.g. CMG’s IMEX, GEM, STARS; or other similar products.
The successful candidate will: Become very proficient with CMG’s software suite, including new CMG technology such as Coflow Play an active role in supporting CMG clients who use the software for a variety of challenging and leading-edge petroleum reservoir recovery processes Teach basic reservoir simulation training courses to CMG clients.
Become part of an international consulting team and work on conventional, unconventional, thermal, chemical, compositional and energy transition reservoir studies as well as production system modelling Assist, work and learn from senior reservoir engineers on consulting reservoir simulation studies Become familiar with oil and gas recovery processes with emphasis on integrated production systems modeling.
Develop knowledge and expertise in emerging energy transition topics such as subsurface and wellbore modelling of CCS/CO2 Sequestration, geothermal, hydrogen storage, etc.

Excellent technical and communication skills and a collaborative approach towards clients and colleagues.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, results focused team player with a positive attitude and ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
Basic level programming skills in python, and visual basic preferred.
Ability to clearly advise clients on technical matters.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
Require minimal supervision and have very good time management.
Communication skills in both written and verbal English, other language skills are an asset.
Familiarity with state-of-the-art engineering software.
Hands-on experience with CMG simulation software or any other reservoir simulator is an asset.
Working knowledge of production engineering software e.g. Hysys; Prosper; GAP; Pipesim; or other similar products is an asset.
Working proficiency of company standard MS Windows and associated office productivity software tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Be customer focused, learn about the business to help bring value to our customers Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and strong communication skills Experience & EducationAn Undergraduate or a Master’s/Ph D degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Energy Engineering, or related degree.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience recommended.
Experience in advanced processes such as Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) or emerging energy transition processes (CCS, geothermal) is an asset.
