<p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities </b><b>:</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Design, Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop data-driven, modular automation scripts that can be re-used in the future with minimal additions<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with application developers to identify and resolve problems identified by automated testing tools<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with and mentor the customer testing team on areas related to test automation</p><p><br/></p><p>- Some knowledge developing test automation for both web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber and BDD</p><p><br/></p><p>- Must have the programming language Java<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of open source frameworks such as Cypress, Test Projectio etc<br/><br/></p><p>- Additionally, experience with performance testing and Jenkins is a Candidate Profile :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Excellent understanding of Testing Concepts<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding in SDLC, STLC<br/><br/></p><p>- Create, Execute - Test Scenarios and Test Cases<br/><br/></p><p>- Automation exposure for Web Apps and APIs (Selenium, Appium with Java)<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Postman is optional<br/><br/></p><p>- Test Execution : Automated tests to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure software quality<br/><br/></p><p>- Automated Testing : Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage<br/><br/></p><p>- Regression Testing : Conducting regular regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with test automation, analysis of test cases to identify candidate cases for automation vs Manual and development of automation scripts in Selenium (must) / Cypress / Protractor / JavaScript is a must<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to API Testing Rest / SOAP / Web Service / API (Postman / Swagger / Rest Assured / Soap UI)<br/><br/></p><p>- Testing Framework Experience - JUnit / Test Ng / N Unit / Cucumber / Mocha<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge in Model Based testing activities including test case design, automatic test case skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Testing Concepts<br/><br/></p><p>- Write Test Cases, Scenarios<br/><br/></p><p>- STLC importance<br/><br/></p><p>- Web Apps testing<br/><br/></p><p>- API Testing</p><p><br/></p><p>- Selenium<br/><br/></p><p>- Java<br/><br/></p><p>- Rest Assured<br/><br/></p><p>- Postman<br/><br/></p><p>- Jenkins</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
