<p><p>We are seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer with strong expertise in C++ (C++17 or later), Data Structures & Algorithms, and complex system design.
The role involves developing and optimizing advanced robotics software solutions, working across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety-critical systems.</p><p><br/><b>Technical Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct and design advanced prototyping and testing for robotic systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform advanced problem-solving and trade-off analysis to evaluate solutions against system requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate user needs into design inputs/specifications and produce sub-system/component-level designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex product design issues using independent judgment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Independently balance design trade-offs while designing system components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and design software systems as per defined requirements and architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide code development effort estimations to support project planning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prepare and review project documentation (requirements, design, architecture, bug reports, test cases).</p><br/><p><b>General Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project success.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support and execute phases of complex product development from concept through launch.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to product lifecycle from concept through release.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business priorities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, modify, evaluate, and verify software components for robotics/medical devices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply design principles, coding standards, and best practices during code reviews.</p><br/><p><b>Technical Skills Required Languages :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong proficiency in C++17 (and later versions).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Qt (5/6) framework for GUI and component design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and design & Development Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Proficiency with IDEs for large-scale projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with static/dynamic analysis, memory management, and code coverage tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Git/Perforce for integration and Process Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with effort estimation for code implementation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to ALM/traceability tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards applied to SDLC (preferred in robotics/medical devices domain).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
