Role Overview 
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer – UAV System Integration  who can take ownership of end-to-end UAV assembly, integration, and testing .
The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong across mechanical, electronics, and controls domains , and has demonstrable experience in building and flying drones from scratch .
This position involves close collaboration with our avionics, software, and simulation teams to realize new UAV architectures, test new sub-systems, and validate integrated system performance.
Key Responsibilities 
- Lead system-level integration  of UAVs — integrating propulsion, control, power, and sensor subsystems.
 
 
- Assemble and commission airframes, propulsion kits, and flight control systems , ensuring compatibility across electrical and mechanical interfaces.
 
 
- Implement and tune flight control algorithms , coordinate with software teams to deploy and validate control loops (PID, model-based, or deep learning controllers).
 
 
- Support hardware-in-loop (HIL)  and software-in-loop (SIL)  testing environments (ROS2, PX4, Gazebo/Unreal).
 
 
- Collaborate in sensor integration  (IMU, GPS, LiDAR, cameras, radar) and assist in developing sensor fusion frameworks.
 
 
- Conduct ground and flight testing , capture telemetry data, and perform post-flight analysis for tuning and debugging.
 
 
- Participate in prototype design reviews , BOM optimization, and validation of mechanical and electronic subsystems.
 
 
- Maintain documentation of integration workflows, wiring harnesses, firmware versions, and calibration procedures.
 
 
Qualifications & Skills 
Education:  
B.Tech / M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
 
Experience:  
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience  in UAV or robotics system development and integration.
 
 
- Proven ability to build drones from scratch  and perform autonomous or semi-autonomous flight tests.
 
 
Technical Skills:  
- Strong understanding of mechanical structures , aerodynamics , and powertrain components .
 
 
- Proficiency in electrical and communication systems  — ESCs, BLDCs, sensors, telemetry, and CAN/UART interfaces.
 
 
- Familiarity with PX4/Ardupilot , ROS2 , Python/C++ , and control algorithm tuning .
 
 
- Exposure to CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360)  and simulation frameworks (Gazebo / Unreal Engine / AirSim) .
 
 
- Understanding of control theory , sensor fusion , and embedded system integration .
 
 
Soft Skills:  
- Highly hands-on, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
 
 
- Strong documentation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
