Title: Robotics Engineer
Location: Bengaluru, KA (Hybrid- Hybrid- 3 Days onsite/Week)

Must Have Skills
- Develop software solutions with proficiency in ROS, Python, SQL, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and React.
- Strong knowledge of network communication protocols and computer vision technologies.
- Program and control 6DOF robots, integrating sensors and actuators for optimal performance.
- Maintain and integrate robotic hardware and software components, ensuring seamless operation.
- Provide technical support for robotic systems at the customer site and troubleshooting to address technical challenges using DOE methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot innovative end effectors.
- Demonstrated understanding of CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, and Creo.
- This is a client-facing role, so must have excellent communication skills.

Specific Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to design, build, test, and troubleshoot new end effectors for a variety of applications on Lam robotic systems.
- Design and conduct test experiments to resolve complex technical problems, implementing DOE principles.
- Software testing: Regression and unit testing.
- Prototype, test, and iterate on mechanical, electrical, and software components to optimize performance and reliability.
- Create detailed design documentation, including schematics, CAD models, and technical specifications.
- Generate clear and concise presentations and data-driven reports to communicate engineering solutions and provide clear technical recommendations.
- Take strong ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring proper accountability from design to release of solutions.
- Acquire and apply basic engineering theories, methods, and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical problems (e.G., Eight Disciplines “8D” Problem Solving).
- Act as a liaison for cross-functional projects across multiple organizations.
- Engage in robotic path programming and computer vision.
- Train and lead other engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
- Research and identify emerging technologies and methodologies in mechatronics and robotics.
Who We’re Looking For
- At least a BS in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a similar field.
- 6–15 years of work experience, depending on the role.
- Background in Robotics.
- Creative thinking, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to complete projects and learn required skills with minimal guidance.
- Solid understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in a production setting.
- Previous experience in individual project management.
- 30% travel – must be available with a 24-to-48-hour notice.
