We are responsible for building next-generation commerce and payment core experiences and services to support both our streaming customers as well as our content partners.<br/><br/> Our industry leading product includes a variety of verticals - from selling of physical and digital goods, subscription billing services, processing a variety of payment methods, disbursements to partners, to ensuring payments integrity.

In addition, we fill a critical role in supporting our internal engineering, business, product, marketing, and financial partners.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>About the role : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We're now looking for a talented and experienced Frontend Engineer to join Roku Pay team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architect.<br/><br/> If you have a consistent track record improving large scale systems and enjoy building consumer-facing platform, and If you are innovative at heart and have a great balance on learning, organising, building, and enjoy making an impact, this role might be a great fit for you!.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>What you will be doing :</b><br/><br/> - Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture.<br/><br/> - Design, develop, test, deploy, and document impactful features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and search engine optimization.<br/><br/> - Suggest tools, technologies and best practices to improve the site stability, performance and quality.<br/><br/> - Participate in Agile development process, including scoping, technical design, estimation effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance and support.<br/><br/> - Design efficient content models, user workflows and page templates.<br/><br/> - Advocate for and lead by example on the tenets of operational excellence.<br/><br/> - Collaborate with product managers, user experience and data engineering.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>We're excited if you have :</b><br/><br/> - 7+ yrs of relevant web development and production application support of highly trafficked consumer-facing web applications.<br/><br/> - 3+yrs of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolset/framework ecosystem.<br/><br/> - Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript - prototypical inheritance, scope and closures.<br/><br/> - Experience with Node.js, React.js/Angular.js, Express, SASS/LESS, AWS, npm, Git and CI a necessity.<br/><br/> - Knowledge of latest open standards and web technologies and how they can be used effectively.<br/><br/> - Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable units of work.<br/><br/> - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/> - Experience with Agile methodologies.<br/><br/> - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or :</b><br/><br/> Roku is committed to offering a diverse range of benefits as part of our compensation package to support our employees and their families.
