Role Overview:  
 The Oracle Communications Global Industry Unit (CGIU) is seeking a high-performing and visionary Sales Director to lead our Networking Solutions business across the India region.
In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic growth for Oracle’s industry-leading networking portfolio, building strong regional relationships and delivering targeted outcomes with communications service providers and large enterprises.
 
 You will lead a regional team, drive go-to-market strategy, and ensure Oracle’s networking solutions (Multi-Generational Signaling and Policy Solutions (3G/4G/5G) for Communications Service Providers, Session Border Controllers for Enterprises and Service Providers) remain at the forefront of the market.
You will report to the Head of Sales – JAPAC, CGIU, who leads the overall Communications business (Oracle Communications Applications & Networks solutions) for the region.
 Key Responsibilities:  
 Develop, drive, and execute the sales strategy for Oracle’s CGIU Networking Solutions within the India region to achieve and exceed revenue growth and market share goals.
 Build and lead a team of regional sales professionals - recruiting, coaching, and fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and compliance.
 Establish and deepen strategic, trust-based relationships at the C-level and with key decision-makers across telecommunications carriers, service providers, and large enterprise customers.
 Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, leveraging deep networking domain expertise (Cloud Native 5G Core, Converged Policy, Signaling/Control Plane for 3G/LTE/5G SA-NSA, SBC for Access, Interconnect, IMS/Volte, Session Delivery for CCaaS/UCaaS).
 Collaborate effectively with pre-sales, solutions consulting, product management, marketing, and leadership teams across Oracle to align on customer needs and deliver world-class network solutions.
 Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory factors across the India market, adapting strategy as required.
 Provide accurate forecasting, robust pipeline management, and actionable reporting to both JAPAC and global leadership.
 Ensure all business activities align with Oracle’s ethics, compliance, and information security standards.
 Required Qualifications:  
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
 10+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications/networking sector, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership capacity across JAPAC’s diverse markets.
 Deep domain knowledge in 3GPP defined Network capabilities (STP, DSR, DEA, EIR, MNP, Policy, SBC, SCP, SEPP, BSF, NRF).
 Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams across multiple countries and cultures.
 Track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets in complex, solution-led environments.
 Strong executive presence; excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
 Ability to travel extensively within the JAPAC region as needed.
 Preferred Qualifications:  
 Experience operating within a large, global technology or telecommunication provider.
 Familiarity with Oracle Communications/CGIU Networking Solutions portfolio or competitor solutions.
 Experience working with both direct customers and through partners/channel ecosystems.
