Job description

About the Role 


We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator / CRM Systems Manager with deep expertise in Salesforce configuration, automation, and integration within lending, collections, or other financial environments.


This individual will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and continuously improving Salesforce environments for our clients—ensuring that systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with evolving business processes.


You will act as both a strategic consultant and hands-on administrator, managing implementations, enhancements, and day-to-day operations while collaborating with client leadership, accounting, and operations teams.


Key Responsibilities 

System Administration & Support 

  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce operations: user setup, permissions, workflows, and data integrity.

  • Provide proactive support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for client teams.

  • Oversee integrations with external systems such as QuickBooks Online, ACH Works, and other finance-related applications.

Configuration & Enhancements 

  • Design, build, and maintain automation using Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.

  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support executive decision-making.

  • Implement tailored features and improvements to align CRM processes with business goals.

Optimization & Maintenance 

  • Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and version updates.

  • Maintain system security, roles, profiles, and permissions in accordance with compliance requirements.

  • Document configurations, process changes, and data structures to ensure continuity.

Strategic Enablement 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

  • Provide strategic consultation on leveraging Salesforce functionality for automation, analytics, and efficiency.

  • Recommend and implement third-party applications or modules to enhance system performance.


Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience, including system administration and configuration.

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; App Builder or Developer certifications preferred.

  • Proven experience supporting organizations in lending, collections, finance, or accounting workflows.

  • Strong command of automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules) and reporting.

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or payment processing integrations (e.g., ACH Works) preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients or cross-functional teams.


 Preferred Experience 

  • Prior experience delivering Salesforce Managed Services or retainer-based support engagements.

  • Background in financial systems automation or CRM integrations for credit, collections, or capital management firms.

  • Experience collaborating with external developers, data analysts, and IT resources.

  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic system planning.
