Salesforce CPQ Developer:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce CPQ, resolving incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues within SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related configuration, pricing, quoting, and approval workflow issues.
- Maintain and update product catalog, price books, discount schedules, and approval rules.
- Assist with testing and deployment of minor configuration changes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements for small fixes or optimizations.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across CPQ and related objects.
- Work closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts for escalations.
- Create and update support documentation, FAQs, and training materials for end users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ in a support or admin role.
- Proficiency in CPQ objects, pricing methods, discounting, product rules, and quote templates.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (validation rules, workflows, process builder, flows).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Basic understanding of Apex, SOQL, and data migration tools (Data Loader, Workbench).
- Exposure to Agile support methodology.
