Job Summary:  
The Salesforce Data Analyst is a bridge between raw data and business insight.
This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, transforming data into actionable reports and dashboards, and empowering stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
The focus is on using data to answer business questions and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:  
- Data Governance & Quality:  
- Monitor and maintain data quality, hygiene, and completeness within Salesforce.
 
 
- Develop and enforce data standards, validation rules, and duplicate management processes.
 
 
- Perform regular data audits and lead data cleansing initiatives.
 
 
- Reporting & Dashboarding:  
- Design, build, and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and report folders in Salesforce.
 
 
- Translate business requirements from stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Service) into technical reporting specifications.
 
 
- Empower business users with self-service reporting capabilities through training and documentation.
 
 
- Business Analysis & Insight:  
- Analyze data trends to provide insights on sales performance, pipeline health, marketing campaign ROI, and customer support metrics.
 
 
- Support strategic planning by providing data-backed recommendations.
 
 
- Document business processes and data flows.
 
 
- Support & Collaboration:  
- Act as a primary point of contact for ad-hoc data and reporting requests.
 
 
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators and Developers to communicate business needs for new fields, objects, or automation.
 
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:  
- Experience:  4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, or similar role, with a primary focus on Salesforce.
 
 
- Technical Skills:  
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Reports & Dashboards .
 
 
- Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets  (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Charts).
 
 
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model  (Standard Objects like Account, Contact, Opportunity, Lead; and their relationships).
 
 
- Basic understanding of Salesforce security (Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules) as it pertains to data access in reports.
 
 
- Soft Skills:  
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to explain data findings to non-technical audiences.
 
 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
 
 
- Meticulous attention to detail.
 
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:  
- Experience with Tableau , Power BI , or Einstein Analytics .
 
 
- Familiarity with a data manipulation language (e.g., SQL ).
 
 
- Salesforce certifications like Salesforce Certified Administrator  or Tableau CRM & Einstein Discovery Consultant
