Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for streamlining release management processes, building scalable CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality deployments across Salesforce environments.
Your expertise in version control, automation, and deployment tools will enable faster delivery cycles, improved collaboration, and reduced risk in production.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and administrators to implement DevOps best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Preferred Clouds: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Salesforce Platform Requirements Must-have Technical Skills: 3+ years of Salesforce platform experience with a focus on DevOps and release management Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX for source-driven development Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and branching strategies (Git Flow, release-based) Proven ability to implement and optimize deployments using third-party DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT) Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata management, sandbox strategies, and change set alternatives Experience with integration and automation of deployments across multiple environments Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models, profiles, and permission sets with DevOps governance in mind Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment failures and performance issues Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles and environment management Desirable Technical Skills: Experience implementing test automation frameworks for Salesforce (e.g., Selenium with Salesforce apps) Experience with data migration strategies and tools (Data Loader, MuleSoft, or ETL platforms) Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools for Salesforce environments Experience integrating Salesforce with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, CRM Analytics) Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to drive best practices and influence adoption of DevOps culture in a Salesforce environment Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator & Advanced Administrator Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (or Developer I) Copado Certified DevOps Engineer (Nice-to-have) Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
