<p><p><b>JD : </b><br/><br/></p><p>Salesforce Order Management (SOM) - 7+ years<br/><br/>- Technical design and end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Order Management (SOM) solutions, all the SOM related Objects and Workflows.<br/><br/>- Design and build orchestration flows for order capture, fulfilment, cancellation, return, and payment processing.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain automation using Flow, Apex, and Composite APIs for complex order lifecycle management.<br/><br/>- Integrate SOM with external systems (ERP, WMS, Payment Gateways, SFCC, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.<br/><br/>- Create scalable data models and ensure data integrity across order transactions.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.<br/><br/>- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.<br/><br/>- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across orchestration flows and API interactions.<br/><br/>- Stay current with Salesforce SOM feature releases and recommend adoption strategies.<br/><br/>- Define and implement custom logic for split shipments, fulfilment routing, order holds, backorders, partial returns, and refund processing.<br/><br/>- Build robust automation and extensibility using Salesforce Flows, Apex triggers, batch/Queue jobs, Lightning Components, and Platform Events.<br/><br/>- Analyse production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes and system optimizations.<br/><br/>- Drive system monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting around key order flows and service interactions.<br/><br/>- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills : </b>Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management (SOM) and data model.<br/><br/><b>Expertise in : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with Composite API, Named Credentials, and secure API integration practices.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in configuring and customizing SOM orchestration flows for order lifecycle events.<br/><br/>- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP) to ERP, payment providers, and logistics systems.<br/><br/>- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and named credential-based auth flows for secure communication.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Salesforce Core Clouds (Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud B2C/B2B, or Sales Cloud).<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of order-related processes : fulfilment, splitting, holds, returns, exchanges, and adjustments.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Understanding of PCI compliance, SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), and fraud management in order transactions.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of common middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Salesforce certifications such as Order Management Accredited Professional, PD1/PD 2, or Integration Architecture Designer are preferred<br/><br/>- Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), SOQL, SOSL, Aura<br/><br/>- Flow Builder, Process Builder (legacy), and Orchestration Flow Designer<br/><br/>- Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
