<p><p><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong technical expertise in advanced ABAP programming and a proven track record in delivering SAP solutions within complex business environments.<br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CDS Views, OData services, SAP HANA, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).<br/><br/></p><p>This role requires a consultant who can design, develop, and optimize SAP solutions that align with business requirements while leveraging modern ABAP development Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Develop, implement, and enhance custom solutions using SAP ABAP in alignment with business needs and SAP best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and implement CDS Views, OData services, and RAP-based applications to support Fiori/UI5 applications and modern SAP landscapes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work extensively with SAP HANA database, optimizing ABAP code for high performance and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate functional specifications into robust technical designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop, test, and deploy custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure high-quality code through peer reviews, performance tuning, and adherence to SAP development standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide support for system upgrades, patches, and integration projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in ABAP developments, ensuring minimal business disruption.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document technical specifications, development objects, and system enhancements for future Technical Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming, including classical reports, smart forms, interfaces, and enhancements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS) Views and OData services for building data models and APIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, including performance optimization, SQL scripting, and HANA-native development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid working knowledge of ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) for building modern, cloud-ready applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration and SAP S/4HANA environments is highly Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience with modern SAP development tools such as Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools (ADT).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) extensions and cloud-based integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices within SAP development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and client Qualification : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.<br/><br/></p><p>- SAP certifications in ABAP on HANA or S/4HANA are a plus</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
