<p>Job Description :</p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with expertise in end-to-end implementation projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality ABAP solutions that align with business requirements and enhance SAP system performance.
This role requires hands-on experience in greenfield/brownfield implementations, a strong understanding of SAP modules, and the ability to work closely with </p><p>functional consultants and business stakeholders.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities :</p><p> </p><p>- Participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop, test, and maintain custom ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, workflows, and interfaces (RICEFW).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide technical support for SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, and HR by developing and optimizing ABAP code.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Work with SAP technical objects such as BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, IDOCs, and ALE.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and optimize SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and ALV reports.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable </p><p>technical solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP best practices.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Support migration activities during implementation, including data conversion and interface development.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within project timelines.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Prepare technical documentation, unit test scripts, and participate in integration/system </p><p>testing.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers.</p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skills & Qualifications :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</p><p><br/></p><p>- 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with at least 2 full-cycle E2E implementations.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of RICEFW development.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with modern ABAP tools (Eclipse ADT, CDS Views, AMDP, HANA Studio).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in developing interfaces using IDOC, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, and OData.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with SAP HANA, S/4HANA programming model, and performance tuning.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP is an added advantage.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.</p><p><br/></p><p>Good to Have :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations and migration projects.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of SAP Activate SAP ABAP certification will be an added plus.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
