The ideal candidate will have worked on 2–3 end-to-end implementations and 3–4 support projects, with the ability to lead a team of developers and coordinate with functional and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and enhance custom programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEFW) in SAP S/4 HANA.Lead ABAP development tasks during full lifecycle implementations and support projects.Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP) to translate requirements into technical specifications.Perform code reviews, enforce quality standards, and guide junior team members.Work on performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting of custom developments.Coordinate with BASIS, Fiori, and integration teams for deployment and transport activities.Manage work allocation, ensure timely delivery, and maintain project documentation.Must-Have Skills:Core ABAP – Reports, Forms, BDC, BAPI, BADI, EnhancementsS/4 HANA ABAP – CDS Views, AMDP, OData, New Syntax2–3 Implementations & 3–4 Support ProjectsTask Allocation, Code Review, Mentoring for JuniorSAP Product Knowledge – Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration pointsCross-Module Coordination – SD, MM, FI, PPGood to Have:Exposure to Fiori/UI5 developments and SAP BTPKnowledge of SAP Workflows, ALE/IDOC, and integration scenariosFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops toolsSAP Certification in ABAP or S/4 HANA Development (optional)Soft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder managementAnalytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to manage deadlines and multitask effectivelyKey skills required:Strong ABAP Development Skills– Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Enhancements, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, ALV, BDC, RFCs, and OData Services.S/4 HANA Experience– Knowledge of RISE with SAP / GROW with SAP projects, including CDS views, AMDP, and modern ABAP practices.Implementation & Support Experience– Hands-on in 2–3 S/4 HANA implementations and 3–4 support projects with strong debugging and issue-resolution capabilities.Cross-Functional Collaboration– Ability to work with SD, MM, FI, PP teams and understand end-to-end business processes.Team Leadership– Experience in leading small development teams, assigning tasks, mentoring, and reviewing deliverables.SAP Product Knowledge – Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration points CPI, BTPEducation qualification:Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
