This role requires mandatory technical expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming and OData services, coupled with functional experience in SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) projects.
We are prioritizing candidates who can join the team quickly, with a notice period of within 1 month.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>SAP ABAP Development : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Design, develop, test, and implement highly robust and scalable solutions using SAP ABAP across various modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Utilize ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming concepts to develop and enhance complex business logic and custom applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain OData services for seamless integration between SAP systems and external applications (e.g., Fiori, mobile applications).<br/><br/><b>HCM Focus and Implementation : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Apply functional and technical expertise gained from working on SAP HCM projects to deliver high-quality solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, unit testing, and deployment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide expert support and maintenance for existing ABAP objects and interfaces within the HCM landscape.<br/><br/><b>Support and Quality Assurance : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and defects encountered during development, testing, and production support phases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure all developed code adheres to the client's coding standards, performance guidelines, and security best Experience : </b> Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.</p><p><br/><b>- Core Technical Skills (Mandatory) : </b> Strong and proven experience in ABAP Object-Oriented (OO) programming.</p><br/><b>- Integration Skills (Mandatory) : </b> Mandatory experience in developing and managing OData services.<br/><br/><b>- Domain Experience (Mandatory) : </b> Prior experience working on SAP HCM projects (implementation, development, or support).<br/><br/><b>- Availability : </b> Must be able to join the client within a 1 month notice period.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with modern ABAP development tools (ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of other SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, Proxies).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development concepts (consumed via OData).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex ABAP issues.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
