<p><p><b>Description : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>SAP Callidus Techno-Functional Consultant<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Understand business requirements around sales compensation, incentive plans, quotas, commission rules, and related processes.<br/><br/>- Translate business rules into technical design, configuration, and development in SAP Commissions / Callidus.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain Stage Hooks, validation logic, data transformations, and performance tuning within the Callidus environment.<br/><br/>- Implement workflow, rules, process automation, and approval processes (using scripting languages such as Groovy or equivalent).<br/><br/>- Create reports, dashboards, and embedded analytics for stakeholders to monitor sales performance, compensation metrics, and plan outcomes.<br/><br/>- Integrate Callidus / SAP Commissions with CRM, ERP, and other data systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP ERP, middleware).<br/><br/>- Migrate Commission process from Legacy Tools to SAP Callidus.<br/><br/>- Support end-to-end implementation : unit testing, system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT).<br/><br/>- Provide post-go-live support, performance optimization, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.<br/><br/>- Maintain documentation (designs, configuration, technical specs, user guides).<br/><br/>- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders (sales, finance, HR) to validate results, refine rules, and ensure compensation accuracy.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commissions / CallidusCloud (configuration, development, deployment).<br/><br/>- Experience in designing and developing Stage Hooks, validation rules, and data transformations.<br/><br/>- Strong scripting skills (Groovy or equivalent) and experience in workflow automation.<br/><br/>- Data modeling, SQL, performance tuning, ETL or data integration experience.<br/><br/>- Ability to build reports, dashboards, and analytics (embedded or BI integration).<br/><br/>- Experience in integrating with CRM/ERP systems (APIs, web services, middleware).<br/><br/>- Good understanding of sales compensation concepts : commission plans, quotas, territories, bonus rules, accelerators, etc.<br/><br/>- Testing skills (unit, integration, UAT) and debugging ability.<br/><br/>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to interact with business stakeholders, gather requirements, explain technical solutions in business language.<br/><br/>- Adaptability to changes and evolving business rules.<br/><br/><b>Preferred / Nice-to-Have : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Certification in SAP Commissions / Callidus / SAP Sales Cloud.<br/><br/>- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, tools like JIRA, Confluence.<br/><br/>- Understanding of SAP HANA or in-memory data processing.<br/><br/>- Exposure to CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote), pricing models, quote-to-cash.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of SAP Sales Cloud or SAP CRM modules.<br/><br/><b>Experience & Qualifications : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent).<br/><br/>- Typically 48+ years of relevant experience (varies by seniority).<br/><br/>- Prior experience in incentive compensation systems, SPM consulting or development roles.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills & Traits : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Attention to detail and quality mindset (accuracy is critical since compensation errors are sensitive).<br/><br/>- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across functional teams.<br/><br/>- Good documentation and governance habit.<br/><br/>- Time management, ability to handle multiple tracks / priorities.<br/><br/>- Ownership, proactive mindset, continuous improvement orientation.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
