<p><p><b>About the Role :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>As an SAP CI-DS Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Supply Chain team, focusing on project-based activities.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation and support of data integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS).
This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Implementation & Design : Lead and participate in at least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP IBP, specifically focusing on data integration utilizing SAP CI-DS.
This includes designing and building efficient and reliable interfaces.<br/><br/></p><p>- Architecture & Components : Apply deep understanding of SAP CI-DS architecture and its various components to develop scalable and maintainable integration solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configuration & Setup : Proficiently set up and configure SAP Data Services Agents, ensuring seamless data flow between source systems (like SAP ECC) and SAP IBP.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integration Protocols : Work extensively with various integration protocols, including OData, RFC, ODBC, and FTP/S, to establish diverse data connections.<br/><br/></p><p>- Technical Mapping : Translate complex business requirements into clear, effective technical </p><p>solutions and detailed integration designs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Data Store Management : Configure and troubleshoot data stores and connections between SAP ECC (or other source systems) and SAP IBP, ensuring data integrity and consistency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning : Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within CI-DS integrations.
Conduct performance tuning activities to optimize data load times and overall integration efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Security & Connectivity : Possess knowledge of secure communication methods such as WebSocket RFC and certificate-based authentication for robust data Skills & Experience : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>Core CI-DS Expertise : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Demonstrated experience with at least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP IBP with a </p><p>strong focus on CI-DS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of SAP CI-DS architecture, components, and best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven ability in designing, developing, and deploying data interfaces using CI-DS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in setting up, configuring, and managing SAP Data Services Protocols :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Hands-on experience with OData, RFC, ODBC, FTP/S, and other common integration protocols.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with WebSocket RFC and certificate-based authentication for secure data transfer.</p><p><br/></p><p><p><b>SAP IBP Knowledge : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Basic understanding of SAP IBP planning areas, key figures, master data, and planning levels.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to configure and troubleshoot data stores and connections between SAP ECC and IBP & Problem-Solving : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong analytical skills to map business requirements to technical integration solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities for data integration processes.</p><p><br/></p><p><p><b>Soft Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
