<p><p><b>Description :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SAP PS (Project Systems) Developer to design, develop, implement, and support SAP PS solutions that align with business requirements and project management processes.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP PS module development, configuration, and integration with related SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.<br/><br/>This role requires strong technical expertise in ABAP programming, a good understanding of project management processes, and the ability to work closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Solution Design & Development : </b><br/><br/>- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PS technical designs.<br/><br/>- Design, develop, and customize solutions using ABAP, User Exits, Enhancements, BADIs, and BAPIs specific to SAP PS.<br/><br/>- Develop RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) objects for SAP PS.<br/><br/>- Work on custom reports, dashboards, and integrations involving project structures (WBS, Networks, Activities, etc.<br/><br/>- Configure and support Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Networks, Milestones, and related master data within SAP PS.<br/><br/>- Develop and optimize interfaces between SAP PS and other modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.<br/><br/><b>Implementation & Support : </b><br/><br/>- Participate in all project phases - requirement gathering, design, development, testing, go-live, and post-production support.<br/><br/>- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to the SAP PS module.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.<br/><br/>- Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancement pack implementations for SAP PS components.<br/><br/>- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with detailed documentation.<br/><br/><b>Performance Optimization & Maintenance : </b><br/><br/>- Ensure system performance and reliability by optimizing code, improving processes, and managing large datasets efficiently.<br/><br/>- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation of all developments and changes in the system.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, security policies, and governance models.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Continuous Improvement : </b><br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand project costing, budgeting, and resource planning processes.<br/><br/>- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities leveraging SAP PS and related technologies.<br/><br/>- Stay current with the latest SAP innovations, including SAP S/4HANA, and advise on upgrade or migration strategies.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications & Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br/><br/>- 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PS development and support.<br/><br/>- Strong technical proficiency in SAP ABAP, including classical and object-oriented ABAP, enhancements, and debugging.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of SAP PS master data and structures - Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Networks, Activities, Cost Planning, and Settlement.<br/><br/>- Experience with RICEF developments specific to PS module.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of project accounting and integration points with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with PS Costing, Budgeting, Milestones, and Progress Analysis.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements related to project systems.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in working with ALV reports, SmartForms, and data migration tools (LSMW/BODS).<br/><br/>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and documentation skills.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PS and Fiori-based extensions.<br/><br/>- Exposure to SAP Project Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) solutions.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Change Request Management (ChaRM), and transport management.<br/><br/>- Understanding of integration with third-party project management or time-tracking tools.<br/><br/>- SAP Certification in Project Systems or ABAP Development is a plus<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
