<p><b>Job Title : SAP SD Testing Lead / SAP SD Test Manager</b><br/><br/><b>Location : Bangalore/ Hyderabad</b><br/><br/><b>Experience : 5 - 9 Years</b><br/><br/><b>Employment Type : Full-Time / Permanent</b><br/><b><br/>Job Description : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Testing Lead with deep expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and strong capabilities in SAP Testing and Quality Assurance processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end SAP SD testing activities, ensuring the highest quality delivery during SAP implementations and support phases.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Lead and manage SAP SD Testing activities across the project lifecycle (SAP S/4 HANA implementation and support).<br/><br/>- Design, create, and implement effective test strategies, plans, and test cases in alignment with business processes.<br/><br/>- Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, ABAP Developers, Functional Analysts, and Automation Teams.<br/><br/>- Validate core SAP functional business process flows and map end-to-end business processes for accurate testing.<br/><br/>- Manage defect life cycle including defect identification, reporting, tracking, and resolution.<br/><br/>- Maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test data, test scripts, and test reports.<br/><br/>- Utilize test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, etc.) for effective test execution and defect management.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with testing best practices, standards, methodologies, and KPIs.<br/><br/>- Mentor, guide, and train testing resources on methodologies, defect management, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Perform effort tracking, reporting, and ensure continuous improvement of testing processes.<br/><br/>- Work closely with the automation team to support functional knowledge transfer for automation scripting.<br/><br/>- Prepare test reports, dashboards, and communicate progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Ensure strong communication and documentation throughout all phases of the Skills & Competencies : </b></p><br/>- Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) functional domain and business process flow.<br/><br/>- Proven experience in SAP Testing (L3).<br/><br/>- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Implementation is highly desirable.<br/><br/>- Proficient in various SDLC models and Testing Life Cycle processes.<br/><br/>- Excellent oral and written communication skills.<br/><br/>- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.<br/><br/>- Skilled in using test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, etc.).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of software testing best practices, standards, and metrics.<br/><br/>- Experience in managing and tracking test efforts and KPIs.<br/><br/>- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers.<br/><br/>- Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
