is seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Architect with deep expertise in S/4HANA transformations and the ideal candidate will lead the technical migration strategy, collaborate across functional and technical teams, and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise SAP Solutions
- Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design, architecture, and migration of SAP ECC systems to S/4HANA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Basis, Functional, Integration, Data Migration, and Security) to ensure end-to-end alignment of the solution design.
- Define ABAP coding standards, governance models, and reusable frameworks to ensure consistency and performance across modules.
- Optimize existing ABAP programs for HANA performance using SQL Trace, CDS Views, AMDP, and modern ABAP constructs.
- Work with SAP functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and extensibility frameworks (BAdIs, Enhancements, OData).
- Participate in technical workshops, solution reviews, and migration cutover planning.
- Provide guidance on best practices for custom code management, transport management, and integration with non-SAP systems.
- Mentor and review work from offshore/onshore ABAP developers to ensure quality and adherence to standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including S/4HANA exposure.
- Proven experience in Brownfield (System Conversion) projects – from planning to go-live.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, and Fiori integration.
- Expertise in integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, CPI, PI/PO).
- Solid understanding of SAP architecture, transport strategy, and system landscapes in large enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and workshops
