<p><p><b>Job Summary :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking highly skilled QA Testers with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA for Retail, specializing in Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory Management (IM) processes.
The ideal candidates will have strong functional testing expertise across procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles, invoice processing, inventory reconciliation, and retail-specific business flows.
This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of executing test cases accurately while collaborating with cross-functional Responsibilities Testing - AP & IM :</b></p></p><p><b><br/></b>- Validate GR/IR reconciliation, invoice postings, credit memos, and exception handling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Test procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor invoices, and vendor payments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute test cases related to inventory movements, stock transfers, adjustments, and valuation postings.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform backend SAP table validations (MSEG, BSEG, MARA, EKPO, BKPF, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and Planning & Execution :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases aligned with project requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for AP and Inventory modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform end-to-end testing of retail flows including DC-to-store deliveries, site-based rules, and pricing configurations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate batch jobs, document types, and configuration settings to ensure smooth processing across AP and IM Management & Reporting : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA, Rally, or ALM.</p><p><br/></p>- Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide daily status reports, defect metrics, and testing progress updates to the QA lead or project Validation & Reconciliation : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform SQL queries and backend checks for invoice data, vendor master, and inventory balances.</p><p><br/></p>- Validate reconciliation logic between SAP modules and integrated systems (Finance, Procurement, and & Documentation : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work with business analysts, functional teams, and offshore/onsite stakeholders to clarify requirements.</p><p><br/></p>- Prepare test documentation, including test plans, execution results, and sign-off reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to QA standards, compliance requirements, and audit Skills & Experience : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- 36 years of experience in SAP QA/Testing with a focus on S/4HANA for Retail.</p><p><br/></p>- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Inventory Management (IM), and P2P business processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in validating GR/IR processes, invoice posting, stock movements, and reconciliation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of SAP data tables (MSEG, BSEG, MARA, EKPO, BKPF, etc.) for backend validations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, Rally, ALM, or similar) and SQL for data validation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with retail industry processes, including DC-to-store deliveries, pricing, promotions, and site-specific rules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and documentation skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and complete tasks on time.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in an offshore model is a Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Exposure to automation frameworks (UFT, Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, etc.) is an added advantage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of SAP FI, MM, and SD integration points.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery cycles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in large-scale SAP Retail implementations is Notes :</b></p><p><br/></p>- This is a hands-on tester role, not a lead or managerial position.<br/><br/></p><p>- Candidates must be self-starters who can take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
