<p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/>- Your primary responsibility will be to organize, develop, prioritize and assign resources to deliver high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines, while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.<br/><br/>- You will be mentoring associate engineers to ensure the seamless development of Viya platform solutions.<br/><br/>- Lead development and test project designs and enforces technical standards to ensure solutions execute correctly across various supported environments.<br/><br/>- Manage and leads project scoping and scheduling; tracks progress of individual tasks and alerts executive management and stakeholders of concerns meeting schedules, while following established R&D standards.<br/><br/>- Manage product quality standards by ensuring functional, unit and performance testing is comprehensive and thorough; works closely with development and testing teams to verify test plans.<br/><br/>- Organizes, prioritizes and assigns resources to implement and resolve code changes related to enhancements, redesigns and/or bug fixes.<br/><br/>- Provide technical leadership as appropriate for projects and to the team through mentoring, training and managing the activities of the team.<br/><br/>- Manage all aspects of the department including teamwork, performance management, feedback, professional growth through collaboration with SAS human resources, SAS education and executive leadership.<br/><br/>- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizations secure software development goals.<br/><br/>- Review business and solution requirements/design documents for :</b></p><p><br/>- Must have a minimum of 12 years of software development/testing experience with a minimum of 8 years of technical expertise and 2-3 years as a software manager or lead.</p><br/>- Proven software management/development experience in building UI and/or Mid-tier for an enterprise application.<br/><br/>- On the UI side, experience using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, ReactJS (FC), or other related frameworks, and having knowledge of Unit/Integration testing frameworks, with hands-on exposure to maintaining enterprise applications in a multi-tier environment, would be preferred.<br/><br/>- On the mid-tier side, hands-on experience using Go or equivalent Language knowledge of micro-service-based mid-tier architecture would be preferred.<br/><br/>- Sound knowledge of testing methodologies/practices and ability to lead/manage testing members to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.<br/><br/>- Sound knowledge of CI/CD pipeline & Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/> - Strong exposure to the design and development of GUIs, mid-tier services, Java, React, cloud technologies, microservices, as well as quality and security concepts.<br/><br/> - Talent Acquisition, Coaching, Development & Succession with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust.<br/><br/> - Proven ability to manage, track, and prioritize escalations and ensure deliver high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines, while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.<br/><br/> - Strong problem-solving skills, Quick Learner and a can-do attitude.<br/><br/> - Attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a solid awareness of the big picture.<br/><br/> - Ability to communicate with global peers and management in a clear, straightforward and effective way.<br/><br/> - Ability to identify technical gaps/areas for improvement.<br/><br/> - Research, analysis, and testing of new technologies.<br/><br/> - Acting as the primary contact for work streams and escalations.<br/><br/> - Ability to evaluate complex information, develop clear recommendations, and effectively present findings while seeking feedback.<br/><br/> - Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams to achieve shared goals.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
