<p><p>The System Administrator / Infrastructure Program Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization's IT infrastructure.<br/><br/> The role combines technical expertise in system administration with strategic planning, project management, and coordination of infrastructure programs to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.<br/><br/> This position will oversee hardware, software, network, and cloud environments while driving infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.</p><p><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><b><br/></b></p><p><b>System Administration :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage and maintain servers, storage, networking equipment, and virtual environments (on-premises and cloud-based solutions).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Configure and support operating systems (Windows Server, Linux distributions, etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor system performance, perform regular backups, and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain security policies, patch management, and access controls.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues affecting IT infrastructure.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file Program Management :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead infrastructure projects including upgrades, cloud migrations, network expansions, and new service deployments.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance, and risk management requirements.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure programs efficiently.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide periodic reports and dashboards on infrastructure performance, projects, and risks.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and cost Leadership & Collaboration :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Mentor and guide junior system administrators and IT staff.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Establish and document best practices, processes, and training materials.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work with cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams to enforce policies and ensure business Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- 8+ years of experience in system administration and infrastructure management.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- 4+ years of experience in Program Management.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects and programs with measurable outcomes.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Windows Server, Linux environments, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with network design, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and storage solutions.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, authentication methods, and security frameworks.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or similar) is preferred.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
