            Job Description
            
                <p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain AEM-based web applications using Java, adhering to best industry practices and established architecture standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement components, templates, workflows, and integrations within AEM to ensure optimal digital content management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver cohesive user experiences and responsive interfaces.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize performance and scalability of AEM solutions, including caching, asset management, and code quality.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate business requirements and client feedback into technical specifications and deliverables.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with DAM (Digital Asset Management) and integrate third-party services as needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure proactive troubleshooting and provide effective resolutions for complex development or deployment issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and architectural discussions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated on new features/releases of AEM, web technology trends, and CMS best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain clear documentation and support on-boarding/training of junior staff, when  Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- A solid understanding of AEM architecture, including JCR, Sling, and OSGi, is required.<br/><br/><p></p><p>- You need expertise in developing and customizing AEM components and editable templates with HTL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong core Java development skills, including object-oriented programming and creating custom OSGi bundles, are a must.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Sling Models for data mapping and creating/consuming RESTful web services is essential.<br/><br/></p><p>- You must have hands-on experience with Maven for project builds and dependency management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Being proficient with Git for version control is a mandatory skill.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are also  to Have Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Familiarity with the out-of-the-box AEM Core Components is beneficial.<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Experience in creating and customizing AEM workflows is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React is desirable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, is helpful.<br/><br/></p><p>- An understanding of AEM Dispatcher configurations for caching and load-balancing is a good skill to have.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with both unit and integration testing is a valuable asset</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
