<p><p><b>Job Title :</b> Senior Associate Database Engineer</p><br/><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions.
</p><p><br/></p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of security, reliability, and scalability for our enterprise-grade applications.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in both relational and NoSQL databases, with expertise in performance optimization and data migration.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p><b>- Database Design and Implementation :</b> Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade database solutions, applying strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies to build efficient and scalable systems.</p><br/><p><b>- Data Management & Security :</b> Implement and maintain robust database security measures, including user roles, encryption, and access controls.
You will also be responsible for performing database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.</p><br/><p><b>- Performance Optimization :</b> Optimize database performance to ensure critical business applications run smoothly and efficiently.
This includes writing and tuning queries and managing data migration and transformation processes.</p><br/><p><b>- Collaboration :</b> Work with various teams to understand their data needs and provide expert guidance on database solutions.</p><br/><p><b>Technical Skills :</b></p><br/><p><b>Databases :</b></p><br/><p>- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).</p><br/><p>- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).</p><br/><p><b>Cloud Platforms :</b></p><br/><p>- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.</p><br/><p>- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB).</p><br/><p><b>Data & System Management :</b></p><br/><p>- Expertise in data migration and transformation processes.</p><br/><p>- Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.</p><br/><p>- Experience in implementing database security measures (user roles, encryption, access controls).</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in performing database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.</p><br/><p><b>Experience & Education :</b></p><br/><p><b>Experience :</b> A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role.</p><br/><p><b>Education :</b> A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
