<p><p><b>About the job :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>Were looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success and their own.<br/><br/> Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.<br/><br/><b>What You Will Experience : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>In this position as a Senior AWS Cloud Developer, you will design and implement operational solutions using AWS cloud services.<br/><br/> Your main responsibilities include :<br/><br/>- Designing and implementing scalable, highly available cloud-native solutions based on new business requirements.<br/><br/>- Collaborating with Business Architecture, Security, and other Operations teams.<br/><br/>- Working across multiple phases of the workload lifecycle, including testing, operation, and updates, using agile methods and tools.<br/><br/>- Supporting the AWS Platform Operations Team in maintaining the platform.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain CloudFormation templates, implement infrastructure automation, create reusable infrastructure components and modules, and ensure security best practices for the infrastructure<br/><br/>- Write high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or C#, implement microservices architectures with containers and serverless services, develop RESTful APIs with API Gateway and Lambda, and integrate various AWS services into applications<br/><br/>- Design and implement database solutions with MSSQL and cloud-native database services like DynamoDB.<br/><br/>- Design and implement automated deployment pipelines, set up test environments and automated tests.<br/><br/>- Set up comprehensive monitoring with CloudWatch, create custom metrics and dashboards, implement logging strategies, and conduct root cause analyses and resolutions of production issues.<br/><br/><b>What You Have :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with AWS services like VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Elastic Load Balancer (ALB, NLB), Route 53, Event Bridge, EKS, AWS CodeCommit / CodeBuild / CodeDeploy/CodePipeline, SQS, SNS and others<br/><br/>- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Container orchestration (EKS, Docker)<br/><br/>- Extensive experience with Event-driven architecture, Patterns for High Availability, Security best practices<br/><br/>- Extensive experience conducting root cause analysis, optimizing performance, debugging complex systems, responding to incidents<br/><br/>- Experience with building and maintaining solutions in multi-tenant, multi-region, public and hybrid AWS Cloud environments<br/><br/>- Proven track record of extensive hands-on experience with application development and architectural solution design for real world business applications<br/><br/><b>Education :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, advanced degrees preferred<br/><br/><b>Certifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate is a minimum<br/><br/>AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification strongly preferred<br/><br/><b>Work Experience :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- 3+ years of experience in solution architecture<br/><br/>- 5+ years of hands on project experience with AWS Cloud<br/><br/>- 8+ years in application development<br/><br/><b>We Have :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day<br/><br/>nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.<br/><br/> We believe our inventive electrical solutions enable safer systems and ensure a more secure world.<br/><br/> We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions that connect and protect some of the world's most sensitive equipment, buildings and critical processes.<br/><br/> We offer a comprehensive range of systems protection and electrical connections solutions across industry-leading brands that are recognized globally for quality, reliability and innovation.<br/><br/>Our principal office is in London and our management office in the United States is in Minneapolis.<br/><br/> Our robust portfolio of leading electrical product brands dates back more than 100 years and includes nVent CADDY, ERICO, HOFFMAN, ILSCO, SCHROFF and TRACHTE.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
