Role Description
We are seeking a
Senior Backend Engineer
with
MERN stack expertise
and
strong DSA skills
to design, develop, and maintain
multi-tenant microservices platforms , ensuring
scalability, reliability, and optimal performance .
This is a full-time ,on-site role for a Senior Backend Engineer at Transond Systems, located in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain
scalable backend services
and APIs for multi-tenant platforms.
Build
microservices
applying
cloud-native architecture principles
and
industry best practices .
Implement
RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints , and integrations with external systems.
Collaborate with
frontend, data, and DevOps teams
to ensure
seamless system integration .
Apply
security, multi-tenant data isolation, and performance optimization
practices.
Optimize backend performance with
Redis or other caching frameworks , database queries, and efficient data handling.
Architect
transactional vs analytical data segregation
to support multi-tenant workloads.
Apply
advanced DSA expertise
for
algorithmically efficient solutions , data structures, and system-level optimizations.
Participate in
code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring
junior engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years
of backend development experience, preferably in
MERN stack
(MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Strong familiarity with
microservices architecture principles
and ability to
put them into practice .
High expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
for scalable and high-performance systems.
Experience with
Redis or other caching frameworks
for performance optimization.
Proven ability to
segregate transactional and analytical data
in multi-tenant environments.
Hands-on experience with
API design, messaging queues, event-driven systems
(Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT).
Knowledge of
containerization and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of
CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices .
Expertise in
database design, optimization, and scaling
(MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).
Experience with
security best practices : authentication, authorization, and data isolation.
Nice to Have
Exposure to
real-time IoT or telemetry systems .
Experience with
GraphQL, Redis advanced patterns, or caching frameworks .
Familiarity with
cloud services
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.
Knowledge of
event sourcing and CQRS patterns .
