<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel & AWS)<br/><br/><b>Location :</b> Navi Mumbai - Hybrid<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for an experienced Cloud Wintel Engineer (L3) to join our infrastructure and cloud operations team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and AWS cloud services, along with solid automation and scripting skills.<br/><br/>This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.<br/><br/>- Oversee and support Windows and Linux operating systems in hybrid cloud setups.<br/><br/>- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.<br/><br/>- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, networking, and security controls.<br/><br/>- Configure and automate system management tasks using AWS Systems Manager (SSM), Ansible, or similar tools.<br/><br/>- Work with Citrix or Amazon Workspaces environments for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) management.<br/><br/>- Implement cloud security controls, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.<br/><br/>- Contribute to disaster recovery planning (DRP) and execution for cloud and on-prem workloads.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to continuously enhance infrastructure design and deployment standards.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across servers, storage, and networking layers.<br/><br/>- Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening of infrastructure components.<br/><br/><b>Required Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of Linux administration and interoperability with Windows environments.<br/><br/>- Experience with virtualization technologies VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in cloud networking and security on AWS (VPCs, subnets, NACLs, security groups, etc.).<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures and modern cloud-native solutions.<br/><br/>- Configuration management experience using AWS SSM, Ansible, or equivalent tools.<br/><br/>- Strong scripting ability using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible for automation.<br/><br/>- Understanding of storage solutions, backup, and recovery strategies in hybrid cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of compliance standards, security protocols, and patch management processes.<br/><br/>- Proven track record in disaster recovery implementation and testing.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- AWS or Microsoft certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, MCSE, or Azure Administrator.<br/><br/>- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
