The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics, with a strong background in e-commerce, retail tech, or product-based startups.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools with a keen ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
You will be instrumental in analyzing client performance, understanding customer behavior, and driving business impact through data-driven Responsibilities : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>Data Analysis & Insight Generation : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Conduct deep-dive analysis into e-commerce metrics and customer funnel behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform root cause analysis and hypothesis testing to understand the drivers behind key business metrics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Transform raw data into compelling stories and visualizations, presenting insights to stakeholders across product, marketing, and client Execution & Tooling : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Utilize strong skills in SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data & Documentation : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and client teams to support their data needs and provide analytical guidance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain a high level of ownership over projects, proactively identifying and solving problems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain clean, comprehensive documentation and SOPs for analytical processes and Skills : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>Core Experience : </b></p><br/></p><p>- 3-6 years of experience in data analytics, with a preference for backgrounds in e-commerce, retail tech, or product-based startups.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with a direct impact on business Proficiency : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel, with a self-rated skill level of 7 out of 10 or higher in each.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with at least one major BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven skills in data visualization and telling compelling stories with Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Expertise in root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, and anomaly detection.<br/><br/></p><p>- A solid understanding of e-commerce metrics and customer funnel Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience in organizations that have gone through Series A-C funding, with 20-150 employees.<br/><br/></p><p>- Specific exposure to client performance analytics, product analytics, or marketing analytics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods or machine learning concepts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
