<p><b>Job Description : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Should hold <b>10 + years </b>of experience with strong skills with core understanding of cloud data warehouse principles and extensive experience in designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining robust and scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform.<br/><br/>- Possesses a strong background in data modelling, <b>ETL/ELT, SQL development, </b>performance tuning, scaling, monitoring and security handling.<br/><br/>- Has knowledge of best practices to work with Snowflake.<br/><br/>- Attitude to collaborate with all the stakeholders such as data engineers, product owners, QA to translate business requirements into efficient and reliable architecture of data pipelines and data models.<br/><br/>- Passionate about leveraging Snowflake's capabilities to unlock data-driven insights and drive business value.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills : </b><br/><br/><b>- Snowflake : </b>Proficient in Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, storage, data sharing, cloning, time travel, cost optimization and data governance features.<br/><br/>- <b>SQL : </b> Advanced SQL knowledge, including complex queries, window functions, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques specific to Snowflake.<br/><br/>- <b> ETL/ELT Development : </b> Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools and technologies such as Snowflake Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, third-party ETL tools such Talend, and scripting languages (e.g., Python).<br/><br/>- <b>Data Modelling : </b>Experienced in data modelling methodologies (e.g., dimensional modelling, data vault) and their application within Snowflake.<br/><br/>- <b>Performance Tuning : </b> Expertise in debugging and resolving performance bottlenecks in Snowflake queries and data pipelines.
