About the Role
One of our client l is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, ensure smooth data flow, and support multiple teams with reliable, scalable data solutions.
If you love building data systems from the ground up and have hands-on Big Data experience, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do
- Build and optimize data pipelines for ETL (extraction, transformation, loading).
- Automate processes and improve scalability of data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to solve data challenges.
- Support machine learning and analytics projects by ensuring accurate and accessible data.
What We’re Looking For
- 11 -15 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark (5+ years).
- Expertise in Scala, Python, Java, SQL .
- Hands-on experience with DataBricks and cloud-based data systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Delta Tables, Parquet, CSV, JSON .
- Comfortable with Linux shell scripting and Agile environments.
- Machine learning knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills & ability to work independently.
