<p><p><b>Description : </b> <br/><br/>We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS services, Terraform, and observability tools.
In this role, youll design, automate, and manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines in a modern cloud-native environment.
You will work closely with Cloud Engineering (CE) and cross-functional teamsincluding client stakeholdersto deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b> <br/><br/><b>CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and manage scalable, reusable infrastructure using Terraform.<br/><br/><b>AWS Cloud Engineering : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Provision and administer core AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and manage AWS networking and security in line with industry best practices.<br/><br/><b>Observability & Incident Management : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and manage monitoring and logging using tools such as CloudWatch and New Relic.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and maintain OpsGenie for on-call rotations and incident response workflows.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Workflow Management : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Define, implement, and enforce Git workflows and branching strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage domain configurations and SSL certificates to support secure and performant deployments.<br/><br/><b>Governance & Reliability : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure all infrastructure is secure, resilient, and performance-optimized.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in regular team syncs, retrospectives, and knowledge sharing sessions.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in AWS services : Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with CloudWatch and New Relic for observability and performance monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of Git workflows and branching strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of AWS security and networking best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and client-facing environments.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in API development and backend services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Kinesis Firehose/Snowflake integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with OpsGenie ing and incident management configurations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of DNS management, domain configurations, and certificate lifecycle management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of container orchestration tools such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to incident response processes and DevSecOps practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working directly with client stakeholders in Agile/DevOps environments.<br/><br/><b>Skills : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>AWS, Terraform, Cloudwatch<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in AWS services : Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with CloudWatch and New Relic for observability and performance monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of Git workflows and branching strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of AWS security and networking best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and client-facing environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
