This Team Player role requires expert-level technical proficiency across the entire DevOps toolchainincluding AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and continuous delivery tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

The leader will apply Strategic Thinking to design, implement, and govern robust, secure, and highly scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for enterprise-level clients in the IT Services & Consulting domain.<br/><br/><b>Job Description : </b> <br/><br/><b>Strategic Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering : </b> <br/><br/>- Drive Strategic Thinking in the design and deployment of secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS (mandatory) and secondarily on Azure, using advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.<br/><br/>- Mandatorily utilize Terraform (expert level) and Helm (for Kubernetes) to manage, provision, and version control complex cloud and containerized infrastructure across multiple environments.<br/><br/>- Provide expert-level configuration and operational support for core compute platforms, including container orchestration via Kubernetes and container runtime environments using Docker.<br/><br/>- Manage sophisticated network components, including Load Balancers (ALBs/NLBs), VPCs, and network security groups, ensuring high performance and resiliency.<br/><br/><b>Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) : </b> <br/><br/>- Lead the design, implementation, and management of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using robust automation servers like Jenkins and modern SaaS solutions like GitHub Actions.<br/><br/>- Configure artifact repositories like Artifactory to ensure secure, standardized management of binaries and dependencies (Maven/Ant builds).<br/><br/>- Champion security integration into the pipeline (DevSecOps), leveraging tools like Vault for secret management and contributing to overall IT Security best practices.<br/><br/>- Develop automation scripts and tools using proficient Python and advanced Unix Shell Scripting to bridge gaps in automation, perform custom system integrations, and manage complex deployments.<br/><br/><b>Monitoring, Observability, and Operations : </b> <br/><br/>- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using the ELK stack (via Splunk) and modern tools like Prometheus (metrics aggregation) and Grafana (visualization).<br/><br/>- Configure and manage configuration management tools like Ansible and/or Puppet to ensure desired state configuration, patching, and automated system remediation across a vast fleet of servers.<br/><br/>- Conduct proactive Performance Tuning of application and infrastructure components (Web Services, databases, load balancers) to optimize latency and throughput.<br/><br/>- Collaborate as an effective Team Player with development, security, and networking teams to troubleshoot complex, cross-functional production issues rapidly and effectively.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b> <br/><br/>- Experience : Mandatory 710 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, with a focus on cloud and automation leadership.<br/><br/>- Cloud & IaC : Expert proficiency in AWS services and mandatory experience with Terraform and Helm for Infrastructure as Code.<br/><br/>- Containerization : Deep operational expertise with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.<br/><br/>- CI/CD & Automation : Mandatory experience with pipeline automation using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and configuration management via Ansible (or Puppet).<br/><br/>- Scripting : Expert proficiency in Python and Unix Shell Scripting for automation tasks.<br/><br/>- DevOps Toolchain : Strong practical experience with the core tools : Git, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Artifactory, and Vault.<br/><br/>- Leadership Core : Proven ability in Strategic Thinking and excellent Team Player mentality for cross-functional collaboration.<br/><br/>- Education : Mandatory Graduate degree.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills : </b> <br/><br/>- Advanced AWS : Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional), and expertise with advanced services like AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, and service mesh technologies.<br/><br/>- Advanced Automation : Experience leveraging HashiCorp tools beyond Terraform, such as Consul for service discovery.<br/><br/>- Security : Hands-on experience implementing security scanning tools (SAST/DAST) directly within the CI/CD pipeline.<br/><br/>- Programming : Proficiency in Java or Go for developing custom automation utilities and integration components.<br/><br/>- Data Pipelines : Experience managing data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
