<p><p><br/></p><p><b>Job Title</b> : Senior DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)<br/><br/></p><p><b>Experience : </b> 5 to 8 Years<br/><br/></p><p><b>Location : </b> Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), Kochi, Chennai<br/><br/></p><p><b>Job Overview : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 58 years of experience to join our fast-paced and technology-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Docker, and will play a key role in driving automation, reliability, and scalability across our infrastructure.<br/><br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and related tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with some exposure to AWS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in real-time.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate closely with Agile development teams to enable DevOps best practices across the SDLC.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and support onboarding of new team members.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and system architecture : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of system monitoring, log management, alerting, and security best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in performance tuning, incident response, and production system stability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.<br/><br/></p><p><b>Good to Have : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- AWS exposure in addition to GCP.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.<br/><br/></p><p>- Certification in GCP or Kubernetes (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, CKA/CKAD).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
