As a Senior Engineer, you will focus on building and delivering quality technical solutions for customers, contributing code across our Java backend and React frontend stacks.

You will play a key hands-on role within a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to ensure scalable, reliable feature delivery.In the Rental Applications team, we empower agencies by digitising their day-to-day activities so they can focus on what matters most.

Our solutions help agencies find the best tenants faster and more efficiently, all through a compliant, user-friendly experience.While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:Implement technical solutions by contributing code across Java backend and React frontendCollaborate within a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering) to deliver business outcomesParticipate in planning, code reviews, testing, and documentationContribute to the ongoing improvement of engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability, distributed systems)Work to solve technical problems and deliver features in a maintainable, extensible wayShare expertise and support other engineers through peer programming, reviews, and knowledge sharingWho we’re looking for:Hands-on experience developing backend services with Java and Spring Boot (Node.js a plus)Competence with React for frontend developmentFamiliarity with event-driven architectures and microservices ecosystemsExperience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automationProficient in developing and optimizing relational databases, especially PostgresSkilled in building API-driven productsGood understanding of CI/CD, TDD, modern software delivery and observabilityDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Product, Design, and other engineersWhat we offer:A hybrid and flexible approach to working.Transport options to help you get to and from work, including home pick-up and drop-off.Meals provided on site in our office.Flexible leave options including parental leave, family care leave and celebration leave.Insurances for you and your immediate family members.Programs to support mental, emotional, financial and physical health & wellbeing.Continuous learning and development opportunities to further your technical expertise.The values we live by:Our values are at the core of how we operate, treat each other, and make decisions.
