Our mission is clear: to make buying property abroad faster, simpler, and safer.<br/><br/><b>Senior Engineering Manager - B2C</b> As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a 35+ people engineering organization focused on improving the user experience for our Consumer (web and mobile) as well as serving the new use cases of the Property space.<br/><br/><b>What you'll do :</b><br/><br/><b>Team execution & development :</b><br/><br/>Ship value - Youll support your teams to deliver a wide range of new features and capabilities for our products, engaging with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, designers, and other engineering leads to bring user-centric, scalable solutions live for all users around the world.
In addition to the Consumer space, the impact of your teams work will expand to affect solutions, too.<br/><br/>Develop talent -Youll hire and empower the people in your team to be the best engineers they can be, while maintaining a supportive and engaging team environment.
Youll foster a culture of ownership, autonomy, and impact, where people find pride in shipping high quality code that solves real problems.<br/><br/>Raise the technical bar - You'll set high standards of technical design and implementation, and ensure our systems are operationally excellent.
Youll plan and prioritise impactful technical investment initiatives for your teams to make our products stand the test of time and enable future use cases with high velocity.<br/><br/><b>What Youll Need :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Extensive experience as a Senior Engineering Manager in a scaling tech organization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record of building and scaling strong engineering teams, recruiting and retaining top-tier talent.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong technical background in modern software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud technologies (AWS).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience leading an organization of engineering teams (on site and remote) focused on building global, customer-facing </p><p>products at scale<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in driving cultural change, rapidly improving quality and delivery standards to produce outcomes and not just outputs<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience with another financial/technology company with a global footprint<br/><br/><b>Bonus Points :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Experience managing managers and staff+ engineers<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience of building embedded software products in new categories<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience at a B2C/B2B Payments Provider<br/><br/><b>Should have knowledge on following Tech Stack :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Java<br/><br/></p><p>- Spring Boot<br/><br/></p><p>- Microservices<br/><br/></p><p>- Data Structure and Algorithm<br/><br/></p><p>- AWS</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
