<p><p>As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our technical team and looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our office.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The chosen person will play an important role in influencing the rapidly growing Two Circles technology proposition and will be responsible for technical seniority, supporting technology consulting projects, identifying and advising on appropriate solutions for our clients.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>You will have a track record of designing and delivering high-quality digital solutions over the last 7+ years and have a keen interest in the application of technology in the sports industry.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>If this sounds like you, please get in touch.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Write clean, and reusable code following best practices whilst helping to define coding standards and team conventions.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Be an advocate for developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Encouraging a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Leading and influencing the technical design, architecture and development of digital projects.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Setting up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality and source control.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other Two Circles engineers.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Keeping up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.</p><br/><p>- A minimum of 5+ years experience in software engineering.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- A high level of proficiency and understanding in TypeScript, React and Next.js with experience in Node.js desirable.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in a CI / CD environment where you have utilised tools such as Circle CI, GitHub actions or Azure DevOps etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- An appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- You don't just write code, but you also like to build and ship it, utilising cloud platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS or GCP.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration and test automation via various methods such as unit, integration, contract and E2E testing.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- You have a high degree of experience in observing the performance and health of applications via tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- You have a strong desire and are an advocate for performant applications.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proactive in solving problems simply and effectively, with an eye for pragmatic solutions.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences to explain your solutions and collaborate effectively with others.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience building services for high traffic systems is desirable</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
