<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Golang Engineer with 5- 8 years of professional experience in backend development.
The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Go programming, system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
You will be a core contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our products.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang)<br/><br/>- Architect scalable, reliable, and secure microservices and systems<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and Product Managers<br/><br/>- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices<br/><br/>- Optimize performance and scalability of existing systems<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug production issues with a focus on root cause analysis<br/><br/>- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/><b>Must-Have :</b><br/><br/>- 5- 8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 3+ years of experience in Golang<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Gos concurrency model, memory management, and best practices<br/><br/>- Experience in designing RESTful APIs and working with gRPC<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems<br/><br/>- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes<br/><br/>- Proficient in working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)<br/><br/><b>Nice-to-Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)<br/><br/>- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)<br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source Golang projects<br/><br/>- Knowledge of other programming languages like Python, Node.js, or Java<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities<br/><br/>- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement<br/><br/>- Able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment<br/><br/><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
