<p><p>We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Java Backend Developer to join our technology team in Bangalore (with a Hybrid work model).
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Core and Advanced Java, extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework, and a proven track record of designing and deploying scalable Microservices.
You will be crucial in building robust, high-performance, and secure backend systems.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Development & System Design : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain highly available and resilient backend applications primarily using Java (Core and Advanced) and the Spring Boot framework.<br/><br/>- Build, optimize, and document high-performance RESTful APIs to power internal and external services and applications.<br/><br/>- Architect and implement decoupled and scalable systems using Microservices architecture.<br/><br/>- Ensure the implementation adheres to security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.<br/><br/>- Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to established standards.<br/><br/><b>Technology & Best Practices : </b><br/><br/>- Demonstrate strong proficiency in working with various database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.<br/><br/>- Apply a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles, design patterns (e.g., Factory, Singleton, Strategy), and concurrent programming with multithreading to solve complex problems.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, including the application of best practices for performance and scalability.<br/><br/>- (Preferred) Utilize knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes and integrate automation into the development lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Quality Assurance : </b><br/><br/>- Work effectively with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, Product Management) to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality products.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure continuous operational excellence.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/><b>- Experience : </b> Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.<br/><br/><b>- Core Languages & Frameworks : </b> Strong expertise in Java (Core + Advanced) and extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot.<br/><br/><b>- Architecture : </b> Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying Microservices and REST APIs.<br/><br/><b>- Database : </b> Proficient in working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).<br/><br/><b>- Foundational Knowledge : </b> Solid grasp of OOPs principles, design patterns, and robust implementation experience with multithreading.<br/><br/><b>- DevOps (Preferred) : </b> Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes and practical experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills : </b><br/><br/><b>- Problem-Solving : </b> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to complex technical challenges.<br/><br/><b>- Collaboration : </b> Excellent communicator and a proactive team player focused on collective success.<br/><br/><b>- Drive : </b> Self-driven individual with a genuine passion for learning new technologies and continuous skill enhancement.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
