You will proactively lead technical solutions, mentor team members, and contribute hands-on to development, testing, and delivery activities enabling faster, more efficient, and reliable product outcomes.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide technical leadership across design, development, and delivery activities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work hands-on in Java development, testing, and analysis to deliver robust solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to Microservices-based solution design and promote best practices across teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to translate business </p><p>requirements into scalable solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Enhance engineering capabilities in Microservices architecture and align with future </p><p>technology direction.<br/><br/></p><p>- Simplify and automate build, test, and deployment processes through CI/CD practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive reduction of technical debt and improvement of platform health.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a learning and collaborative culture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality </p><p>delivery.</p><br/><p><b>About You :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>You are an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong Java development background, proven leadership capabilities, and experience building customer-centric enterprise applications.
You are a proactive problem-solver, an excellent communicator, and thrive in collaborative, agile teams.
You should bring most (if not all) of the following :</p><br/><p><b>Technical Skills & Experience : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Extensive experience in Java development (Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in Microservices and API development (REST/JSON, Kafka, message queues).<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of software design patterns, API service testing, and integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid experience with Unix/Linux commands, web services, and messaging frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in QA processes, source control, and build pipelines.</p><br/><br/><p><b>Soft Skills & Working Style : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of managing tasks independently.<br/><br/></p><p>- Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to explore innovative approaches to complex problems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities within cross-functional teams.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
