<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Magento Developer.<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Kochi / Bangalore.<br/><br/><b>Experience Range : </b> 7+ yrs.<br/><br/><b>Employment Type : </b> Skills : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Magento 1 & Magento 2 (Migration experience) - Minimum 5 years.<br/><br/></p><p>- RESTful APIs & GraphQL - Minimum 3 years.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Headless Architecture & PWA Studio.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Magento Indexing & Caching.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience with customization using 3rd-party search Responsibilities :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design, develop, and maintain Magento/Adobe Commerce Cloud applications (Magento 2+ preferred).<br/><br/></p><p>- Work across all eCommerce subsystems : User Management, Catalog, Product, Search, Promotions, Pricing, Payments, Checkout, Tax, Order Processing, and Backend jobs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop custom reusable Magento modules and extend GraphQL schemas for custom modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and backend performance (MySQL expertise required).<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and manage backend batch jobs, cron processes, and data syncs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform third-party service integrations with ERPs, CRMs, OMS, Payment Gateways, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support multi-website, multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency setups.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with UI/UX, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting for critical issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes using tools like Jira.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps for continuous Technical Expertise : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.</p><p><br/></p>- Knowledge of Composable Commerce paradigm (CMS like AEM/Contentful, Search platforms like Constructor/Bloomreach, Loyalty </p><p>systems, International Shipping, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in REST/SOAP APIs development & consumption.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) - preferred.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in test-driven development (TDD), integration & end-to-end testing (JUnit, Mockito, RestAssured, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Recommended : Adobe Certification to Have : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of infrastructure & application security management for large-scale systems.</p><p><br/></p>- Exposure to contemporary frameworks/technologies beyond Magento for scalability and integration.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
